The "Bumblebee 5" hull is a custom male moulded carbonfibre and nomex honeycomb construction. The hull is extremely light and weighted less than the initial weight estimates. All the internal structure is carbon and nomex honeycomb and was engineered by High Modulus of New Zealand.
