<P>Distinguished in offshore and club racing around the world the "Sydney" range is also recognised by the industry itself. The Sydney 36 and Sydney 40 were award winning Australian Sailboats of the Year in 1997 and 1999 respectively. Internationally acclaimed, the Sydney 41 was awarded 1999 USA Performance Cruiser/Racer of the Year. The successful tender in February, 1998 of the Sydney 40 as the new middle boat class for the Champagne Mumm Admirals Cup further endorsed Sydney Yachts reputation. The tender was won from 11 other international boat builders and designers. <BR></P></TD>

Each model offers a grand prix (high-end racing), cruiser/racer (racing and cruising) or simple sports (swept back spreader rig) configuration (with the exception of the One-Design Class Yachts).
