Unfortunately on the way to the start line, one of the crew looked up and commented, 'The top of the main is not trimmed properly…' and they were right. What a day!! Clear blue skies, fresh but not too fresh, sea breezes. T-shirt sailing and just like living in a postcard. A postcard from Suva that is. Sydney on the other hand, was crap. It rained, somewhere near torrential pretty much all day. The wind was anywhere between 5 and 25 knots and blew from most directions. Sometimes all at once.... [more]
